The Iry -- Recording Update -- Sunday July 8th

Good Sunday Morning to Everyone!

We are excited to be spending our third day at Low Watt Studios in Raleigh, NC. As you know, or should know, we are in the process of recording a new album with producer Ted Comerford. The past two days in the studio have proven to be a blast and a great learning experience for the band. We will be here till the end of the month working on all of the new material.

We are leaving; be back with an album

We are fast approaching the trip to North Carolina to record. Leaving in 3 days gives us plenty of time to get ready. So far my list reads: Toothbrush, headlamp, and camera. I don’t know if we will have enough room for everything for a month?? we are excited to get on the road and are planning to document every step of the trip. With the help Greg lends to the band we are planning to put up day-to-day blogs on wtf is going on. I think those will be at our site www.theiry.com and/or myspace.com/theiry.
Four weeks in Raleigh.
10-12 new songs.
